Le Perroquet is a small restaurant right at the La Jorette bus stop. Being late April – the end of the snows and absent hungry skiers – it was also the only restaurant open in La Jorette. It has an inviting sun deck that seats around 12 people with room for another 20 indoors.
After one exhausting walk from the little Torgon town a couple of kilometers away we decided to get some beer there. A casual glance at the menu drew my attention to the fondue which we agreed to sample as given our hectic schedule we had not managed to do as yet.
Twenty minutes later after some Cardinal beer we were pleasantly surprised by the most amazing fondue treat. The unanimous rating agreed upon after the cheese was gone was a 9.5 out of 10 (the 0.5 reserved only because one should always leave room for improvement). So if you have the time, this dish at Le Perroquet comes highly recommended.
