The last thing to do in Krabi

October 1st, 2017

There are numerous activities to thrill and keep you entertained in Krabi... From island hopping, to exploring the walking street in town, relaxing in the shacks on the Klong Moung beach to temple visits and elephant rides. However, it is very important never to do the Tham Suea (Tiger Cave) temple first unless you are a fitness buff and in great shape. We made the mistake of making this our first sight seeing point and while the views of the bay from the top are breath taking the 1237 stairs to the top simply take your breath away and ruin your legs for the next few days. Though in reasonably good shape. (we made it to the top – didn’t we?) we literally could not walk properly for the next couple of days. Pain killers helped a bit but didn’t quite do the job, nor did a thai massage. We sure made a funny sight as we hobbled around.

You have been warned. Make this the last thing you do on your trip to Krabi.
